Abstract
Based on the advanced pelletizing and sintering technology, fly ash can be made into pellets by roasted and processed with low density and high compression strength.Through orthogonal test, the influencing factors on production super light pellets using fly ash was examined. The optimum experimental conditions was determined. On this basis,an additional experiment was tested. The results show that under the conditions of clay content of 4%,roasting temperature of 1 100 ℃,roasting time of 10 min and boracic content of 0.005%,the super lightweight pellet in accordance with requirements can be obtained.
