Israeli Tadiran Company's Internet Protocol(IP) based Tactical Internet and US Harris's FALCON Ⅱ based Tactical Internet are presented first, and also DoD's Next Generation Internet Research Plan briefly; Then the controversy related to Internet IP services transmission technique and media as well as the application Situation of Tactical Internet in US troops are discussed; Lastly the development trend of future tactical network is also forecast briefly.
