Clinical analysis of 120 cases with maxillary supernumerary teeth

Abstract

Objective: To summarize theclinical managements of supermumerary teeth in maxillary bone. Methods: Date of120 cases of impacted sumpermumerary teeth was collected to estimate the status,and mamagement of impacted supernumerary teeth in 2010 to 2015. Results: All 128 teeth were extracted in 120 cases,the ratio of male to female was 2. 33 ︰ 1. 75. 00%supermumerary teeth was located in palate side and 17. 97% in labial side. All impacted teeth were extracted successfuly with the accurate positioning of cone- beam CT( CBCT). Conclusion: The accrurate positioning and aprropriate time to extract teeth is the key of operation.
