Abstract
The Wansonghe river basin with the area of 78 km2 is the secondary tributary of Xizhijiang river, and is located in the western Huidong County of Guangdong province. Because of the lacking of flood control and drainage facilities at present, the banks of the river are basically in the natural state and the natural disasters occurs frequently. In order to reduce the basin flood damage, these project measures of dredging, dike construction, slope change and sluice construction are adopted to control flood and reduce disaster. Through the scheme comparison, the best layout plan of flood control measures is determined.
