Diagnosis and analysis of hepatic hydatid cyst by CT in 34 cases

Objective To study the CT and pathological features of hepatic hydatid cyst,and evaluate the value of CT in its diagnosis.Methods CT data were retrospectively analyzed in 34 patients with pathologically-proven hepatic hydatid diseases.Results Out of 34 cases,33 cases were correctly diagnosed,only one case was misdiagnosed,and the diagnostic accuracy was 97.05%.Conclusion Hepatic hydatid cyst has its characteristic CT manifestations.CT can reflect some characteristic pathological changes at different stages of hepatic hydatid cyst,and is of high value in the diagnosis of hepatic hydatid.
