Abstract
When the sterile plant of male sterile meanline of cabbage 88 3 flowering,there is no pollen grain in the anther.Abort occurs from the stage of microspore mothercell to binuclear pollen grain and its peak happens around the final stage Ⅱ of meiosis.Male abort includes such three forms as following microspore mothercell cantt reach or finish the meiosis stage;microspore cant develop normally.A sudden complete disintegration or coagulating into a ball is the common character of abort.Male sterility mainly results from the abnormality of mesospore,tapetum tissue and vascular bundle.
