Abstract
BIOS is an important module in the intel X86 system. In modern operating systems, such as Linux, the mechanism is cumbersome, lack of flexibility, and impacting on various system performances, including booting time.Based on analyzing the booting and running principle in the typical system,a new method that Bootloader concept in some new kind of computer systems, such as ARM,is used into standard X86 is proposed.A new way to boot the Linux operating is introduced.Through eliminating BIOS structure in the X86 with guaranteeing the system stability, this new method can simplify the computer system structure, reduce booting time and enhance performance effectively.
