Abstract

Taking a dust ash of steel plant from Tangshan as material, leaching zinc from a dust ash of steel plant was conducted using sulfuric acid. The effects of amount of sulfuric acid, temperature, leaching time, and liquid/solid ratio on leaching yield of zinc. The obtained optimum conditions are sulfuric acid45%,room temperature, adding time 0. 5 h,leaching time 2 h,and liquid/solid ratio 2 ∶ 1,the leaching yield is up to 91. 06%.
