On Isolation and Preparation of Lignans from Arctium Lappa L.

Abstract

Studies have been conducted on the isolation and preparation of lignans from Arctium lappa L.The components have been separated with chromatography techniques,and their structives elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic evidences and physicochemical properties.Arctigenin and Arctiin are isolated from Arctium lappa L.It is concluded that the method is simple,fast and quality of Arctium lappa L.could be controlled effectively.
