Abstract
Purpose; To evaluate the diagnosis and treatment of testicular torsion. Method: The clinical data of 14 cases of testicular torsion were respectively reviewed. Result: Color Doppler ultrasonography (CDS) made the definite diagnosis of testicular torsion in 8 cases which were proved by surgery. Ipsilateral testicles in 10 cases were removed and the testicles in other 4 cases were salvaged by surgical detorsion and orchiopexy and all contralateral testicles were performed preventive orchiopexy Conclusion: CDS was the first choice of diagnostic method for acute testicular torsion and surgical invention and detorsion and orchiopexy shoule be performed as soon as early.
