Abstract

Objective: To investigate the clinical effect of preventing recurrent laryngeal nerve and parathyroideum injury during operation in patients with thyroid intracapsular resection. Methods: Total 110 multiple nodular goiter patients with thyroid intracapsular resection from January 2005 to July 2009.Results: 110 cases were successful.A small quantity of bleeding under surgery.110 cases had not recurrent laryngeal nerve and parathyroideum injury on surgery and after surgery. The success rate of surgery was 100%.In the follow-up of 1-5 years,110 cases had not hypothyroid and recrudescence. Conclusion: The application of thyroid intracapsular resection is effective surgery for multiple nodular goiter.
