Features and Application of Client/Server and Browser/Server in Network Database

Abstract

By means of task division and coordinate operation, Client/Server pattern transits logical programming and exerts function for Client and Server in the Network Database and has been widely applied in big corporations for database C/S and client's self-automation function. Being open and foreign to software and hardware, Browser/Server pattern has been applied in the Internet. Several familiar structures of network database are introduced in the paper and the features and application of Client/Server and Browser/Server are analyzed in detail.
