Abstract
With cylindrical coordination,this paper establishes the contour surface equations and pressure angle formula of the conical grooved cam with translating conical roller follower. It provides theoretical basis for the three dimensional design and NC processing of the cam' contour surface. Only let the cone angle of the foller λ= 0°, then the equations and formulas in this paper can also be used to design the conical cam with translating cylindrical roller follower.
