Abstract
With benzoyl peroxide(BPO)as initiator, the graft polymerization of maleic anhydride(MAH)onto LLDPE was studied. The effects of the content of initiator, the concentration of LLDPE and MAH,the reaction time and temperature on the grafting rate were studied by means of orthogonal experiment, and the optimum conditions for the polymerization were obtained. The obtained LLDPE-g-MAH was utilized as compatibilizer of LLDPE/PA6 blends. The compatibility and mechanical propeties of the blends were investigated. The results showed the graft copolymer could obviously improve the compatibility of LLDPE/PA6 blend, being a good compatibilizer.
