Abstract

The classification and ordination of the wetland vegetations in Linfen Section,Fenhe River were studied using two way indicator species analysis(TWINSPAN) and detrended correspondence analysis(DCA).Eighty two samples collected from the wetland vegetations in the Fenhe River were classified into 16 associations by TWINSPAN and the community characteristics of every association were described as well. The result of DCA ordination has reflected the relationship between plant community type and the environment gradient. The result shows that distribution pattern of the associations were mainly affected by the leading ecology factor of the water gradient of soil and the altitude gradient.
