Practice and Exploration of General Practice Education in My School

It is the main contents of China’s care reform to establish general practitioner(GP) system and general medical model.And so for that,it is necessary that we develop general medical education.Binzhou Medical University is a provincial medical university of Shandong province.It is the school purpose to serve local social and economic development as well as to cultivate high-level medical personnel for Shandong province and surrounding areas.Since the last century nineties,this school actively developed general medical education and constantly explored GP training model and means.We have established a set of ways and means of general medical education that suited our national conditions and fitted the feature of local medical health services.Our school has trained a large number of general medical talents in succession.We has also obtained certain social benefits and accumulated profuse experience in general medical education.The article introduced the history and current situation of family medicine education in our school.It analyzed and summarized the experience and the understanding of my school to carry out family medicine education.And it also proposed the recommendations and the perspectives to promote the development of China’s family medicine education.So we expected to provide some references and basis for development of family medicine education.The author believes that awareness rising is the precondition to do a good job in general medical education.The author also believes that leadership of great importance,scientific organizing and implementing;faculty constructing is very importance for doing a good job in general medical education.
