Adjustment and Malajustment——T-he Relationship between Social Conditions and Pierre Bourdieu′s Babitus Concept in His Theory of Practice

This paper elaborates on the relationship between social conditions and Pierre Bourdieu′s′habitus′concept in his theory of practice.Habitus tends to reproduce the original structure when the agent is under the same social and historical conditions under which the habitus developed.When the field and social conditions in which the agent is living is different from the original time when the habitus developed,with the habitus hysteresis,the agent will experience sorts of maladjustment.
