Abstract
Through an elastic-plastic analysis of FLAC3D program based on the explicit difference method,an updated foundation rigidity design of gravel pile composite foundation under tank's base was proposed to control the uneven settlement of foundation effectively.In addition,the influence of cushion modulus on pile-soil stress ratio and settlement of pile and soil around pile was studied.Results show that,the pile-soil stress ratio increased,and the difference settlement of pile and soil around pile decreased along with the cushion modulus increase.,revealing the relative correspondence between pile and soil around pile of vertical displacement: the displacement of pile top is less than that of soil around pile;the displacement of pile tip is more than that of soil around pile,and the displacement is identical between most part of pile and soil around and along the depth of pile.
