Revolution and Love in Guo Xiao-chuan's Narrative Poems in 1950s

Abstract
In dealing with the themes of revolution and love in his narrative poems in 1950, Guo Xiao-chuan would like to subject love to revolution so as to comply with the political requirement. Out of the affiliation and respect for individual value and feeling, the poet has, by accident or design, removed the constraint of revolution upon love in narrative logic of the text, monologue, the visual angle and profound insight of the women.
