The Comparisons of IgG Index and IgG 24 h Synthesis Rate and IgG Fraction Bands in Patients with Multiple Sclerosis

Abstract

Objective To study the clinical significance of IgG index, IgG 24 h synthesis rate, and IgG fra ction bands in patients with MS.Methods Using immune iso electric focusing and nephelometry immuno assay.Results In 103 MS patients, the abnormal rates are 90.3% for IgG fraction bands , 19 4% for IgG 24 h synthesis rate, 17 5% for IgG index.Conclusions The abnormal rates of IgG fraction bands are higher than that IgG 24 h synthesis rate and IgG index in MS patients It thus may help to the diagonosis of MS.
