Abstract
Dynamics of 1lie resting eggs of rotifer, Brachionus calyciflorus , growing in a small-laboratory container and under high temperature and food density were studied. The results showed that at high temperature the rotifer spawned resting eggs earlier than it did at low temperature. Under the experimental conditions the effect of food density on the period of producing resting eggs was not demonstrateded. Population of rotifer cultured at suitable temperature and food density at early experimental stage could spawn a great deal of resting eggs.
