Abstract
Polyacrylic acid was synthesized with H2O2-NaHSO3 as initiator and microwave as assistant. It was investigated in details that the effects of monomer concentration, initiator concentration and reaction temperature on monomer conversion and molecular weight. The low molecular weight polyacrylic acid sodium(2000~3000) was got by monomer concentration 30 %, initiator concentration 4.0 % and reaction temperature 60 ℃.
