Abstract
Irritable Bowel Syndrome(IBS)is a common chronic functional gastrointestinal disorder,and its pathogenesis is still not entirely clear.Small intestinal bacterial overgrowth(SIBO)factor attracks more and more people's attention.SIBO can affect gastrointestinal motility,resulting in infection,increased visceral sensitivity and produce gas,abdominal pain,bloating,diarrhea,change in bowel habits and extraintestinal symptoms.In recent years,traditional Chinese medicine is used to improve the irritable bowel syndrome clinical symptoms,all physicians have divergences for the treatment effects,but the TCM treatment has low recurrence rate and few side effects,which has attracked more and more people's attention.
