Function of Service in Athletic Volleyball Match by Attack-Offense Chain Theory

Serving is the very beginning of offensive and defensive chain in volleyball match.Reconsideration on its impact on match results will facilitate changing concepts for the trend and scientifically instructing and training.This paper attempts to propose one viewpoint that serving is the leading role in modern volleyball match and has become one determinant factor in match results,from the perspective of athletic sports winning rules,according to offensive and defensive chain system laws,by means of employing literature review and logical analysis,integrating the important role of serving in modern volleyball match by interpreting serving technique statistical data.Therefore,this paper brings a proposal forward that the role of serving be reconsidered and serving training be strengthened.
