Abstract
Expanded graphite(EG) was prepared by microwave irradiation at 1,000 W for 60 s.The effects of pH,dosage of adsorbent, initial concentration of Cr(Ⅵ) and temperature on adsorption of Cr(Ⅵ) in wastewater were studied. The experimental results show that on conditions of pH 3,dosage of adsorbent 0.1 g,concentration of Cr(Ⅵ) 10 mg/L and temperature 15 ℃,the maximum removal rate can reach 39.94%.The reaction of Cr(Ⅵ) adsorption is consistent with the Langmuir adsorption isotherm model and secondary dynamic model.
