A Study on the Modeling Technology of Relational Database

Abstract

Based on a thorough discussion to the development and application of Database as well as the necessity for the development of Database technology, this study analyzes the modeling method of relational Database, emphasizing on the application of CASE tool, an excellent tool developed by the relational Database of ERwin. Taking as an example the ER model, a university bookstore management system, it constructs all the entities and relationships for the management of bookstores and provides a typical application for the modeling technology of relational Database.
