Abstract
Twenty-seven species of AM fungi belonging in five genera,i.e.nine species of the Acaulospora,one of the Archaeospora,one of the Entrophospora,one of the Gigaspora,and fifteen of the Glomus,were isolated from rhizospheres of twenty-four common plants in north Xinjiang.Great difference occurred in species richness,spore density,isolation frequency and genus relative abundance among different regions.Glomus,with highest isolation frequency and relative abundance,is encountered in all regions,and followed by Acaulospora.
