Designing Collaborative-Knowledge-Building-based Online Professional English Course

Collaborative knowledge building explores how individuals express their personal viewpoints,how to communicate with other members in a learning community,and how to acquire relevant knowledge and skills in a process of constructing the community knowledge.Network-based collaborative learning offers a good environment for knowledge building,and it is the necessary phases and approaches for collaborative knowledge building.Based on the course International Trade English,we design an online course according to collaborative knowledge building.The purpose of the paper is to explore how to build a new approach of Professional English supported by the networked technologies and collaborative knowledge building.
