Abstract
The design method of embedded USB host based on SL811 are discussed in the paper. The system brings USB host into the embedded system and extends the application of USB. The architecture of layered USB protocol is mainly discussed and the basical functions are annotated. Its firmware is developed independently from hardware and more portable for different MCUs and USB interface chips.
