Abstract
This paper puts forward a numerically controlled oscillator technique based on CORDIC algorithm. This method overcomes the shortcomings of traditional digital down conversion, whose look-up table method requires large ROM to generate discrete sinusoidal signal, and improves resource utilization and reduces the design cost of hardware.Whats more, the algorithm combines numerically controlled oscillator and digital frequency mixer together. The use of shift-sum flow structure of CORDIC algorithm CORDIC rotating get the implementation of the Digital Down Converter design. Finally, its high efficiency is shown by simulation.
