Abstract

Objective To establish an accurate method to determine diphenhydramine hydrochloride by coated carbon PVC membrane selective electrode. Methods The electrode showed Nernst response for diphenhydramine.Diphenhydramine can be quantitatively determined. Results The average recovery was 99.6% and RSD=1.87%.The Nernst response range is 1.0×10 -2~2.4×10 -5mol/L,the detection limit is 1.6×10 -5mol/L. Conclusion The method can be used to determine the concentration of diphenhydramine in tablet simply,rapidly and accurately.
