Foundation of Confucian Aesthetics:Essence of Confucious' Ideology of Aesthetics

It is to expatiate the Confucius' ideology of aesthetics in three aspects.First,the ideology of aesthetics in ceremonial rites and music,in which the aesthetics is originating from poets,engendering from ceremonies and thriving from the music,represents the beauty of criterion and order based on the principle of aesthetics that ceremonial rites and music exist in harmony.Second,the ideology of aesthetics in art,which contents the idea of 'amusing oneself by art','perfect' and 'plainness after describing things'.Besides the ideology of 'amusing oneself' that is its attitude to art,the ideologies of 'plainness after describing things' and 'supplementation of beauty and virtue' shows the pursuit of natural beauty and aesthetic criterion of harmonious beauty.Third,the ideology of aesthetics in personality,which is based on the aesthetics core of benevolence and the ideal of 'gentel',develops into the standard of personality beauty measured aesthetically by the ideology of 'harmony both inside and outside'.All above the Confucius' aesthetics ideology forms the foundation stone of Confucian aesthetics.
