Abstract
Forest fragmentation has immeasurable on birds. The population dynamics, population genetics and local evolution of birds are to some extent affected by the changes of environment. Different species of birds respond differently to forest fragmentation. Edge effects have two kinds of effects: negative and opposite. The response of bird to forest fragmentation depends not only on quantity and quality of habitat, but also on plasticity in behavior and its inherent genetic variation.
