Discussion on Furniture Modular Design for Mass Customization

Furniture modular design is key technology to realize furniture mass customization, but there has had no systematic study on its theory in China so far. On the basis of analyzing the theory and technology base of furniture modular design, the authors of this article make sure it is necessary and feasible to carry forward the modular design. Furthermore, a systemic frame of the furniture modular design is set up to guide its practice.
