Abstract
Based on the digitized theoretical foundation of new Geometrical product specification and verification (GPS),an evaluation process of roundness error was presented by using the GPS operation and operator technology.The relationship between the evaluation of roundness error and the operation and operator technology was discussed.The experimental results show that the operation and operator technology can realize the evaluation of roundness error correctly and effectively.This method can be applied effectively in the evaluation of other geometrical characteristics.
