Abstract
Western missionaries who went into China in the end of the Ming Dynasty clutched an opportunity that anmanac need to be reformed because its not being repaired in long time,and input western astronomy and participated in editing and translating Chongzhen Calender.They promoted the inputing of western science during Ming and Qing Dynasties and helped the spread of catholicism to revitalize in China after the suffering of Nanjing.
