Abstract
Nerve Regeneration is a complex biological phenomenon incorporated by cells, growth factors and extracellular matrix. At present, bioengineering strategies for peripheral nerve regeneration are focused on designing and manufacturing reactive combined nerve conduits to mimic nerve autografts for better functional recovery. This review will present neurotrophic factor delivery systems applied in those conduits.
