Research and Design of Content-based Web Image Retrieval Engine

Abstract

This paper brings forward a content-based image retrieval engine and its system structure. At the same time, some technologies in content-based image retrieval, such as index and relevance feedback, are also discussed here. Experiments prove that the method of applying content-based image engine in a practical Web image retrieval system is effective. In the end,the paper presents the trend and the application future of the content-based Web image retrieval engine.
