Abstract
Through laser cladding Ni-based alloy coating with 250/0 Cr3C2 on TC4 substrate, the Cr3C2/Ni-base alloy composite layer is obtained by 5 kW crosscurrent-CO2 laser. The microstructure of the clad layer is observed by SEM and the phases of the clad layer are also analyzed by XRD.Finally the microhardness of the clad layer is measured by the HXD-1000T digital micro-sclerometer.The results show that,γ-Ni,TiC,Cr7C3,M23(C,B)6 and CrB phases exist in the Ni+Cr3C2 composite layer and its microhardness is between 600 HV and 900 HV.
