A Primary Study of Distribution Traits of Locust Disaster during Ming Dynasty in Shandong

Locust disaster is the disaster that directly affects agriculture production.Plants are seriously destroyed when crowds of locusts fly into cropland,even no harvest.In history Shandong was one of the mostly affected areas.Especially during Ming Dynasty Shandong was more seriously destroyed and the disaster areas mainly focused in south,northwest and areas around Bohai Bay.The big locust disaster which took place in the period of Chongzhen was so rare and unprecedented that it almost spread everywhere in the province.
