Abstract
A method has been developed for the separation and determination of benzophone-4 in sunscreen by cloud point extraction combined with UV-spectrophotometry.Effects of extraction conditions such as pH,concentration of the surfactant,equilibration temperature and time,have been investigated in detail.The presented method has been successfully applied for the determination of BP-4 in sunscreen with satisfactory results.
