Study on Ultrasound Test of Pulmonary Artery for Returned Residents from High Altitude

Objective:To discuss the change of the internal diameter of the pulmonary artery for the residents who had once lived on the plateaus and then returned to plains.Methods:CDFI is perfoened on 114 cases of the above mentioned residents,and then an analysis is conducted about the results of the test the maximum length of the inside diameter of main pulmonary artery and right pulmonary artery.Results:The change of pulmonary artery of the returned residents is related to living time span on a plateau,age,and sex to a certain degree.Conclusion:As to the residents who had once lived on the plateaus and then returned to the plains,they should receive regular echocardiography,have main pulmonary artery,right pulmonary artery,and right ventricle observed and tested in terms of their changes,based on which a correct clinical diagnosis is able to be made so that the development of cor pulmonale will be prophylacted.
