The Influences of Tourism Development in Minority Areas on Ethnic Relations

This paper shows the positive and adverse influences of tourism development in minority areas on Ethnic Relations. I believe that the Tourism development in minority areas, which is promoting the exchange and fusion in economy, culture and social living between the Han nationality and the ethic groups for positive influences; According to the adverse Influences, the change of the traditional cultural life of minority nationalities is the inexorable trend; also, the dispute is produced between tourist of the Han nationality and the minority people in the tourist areas because of cultural differences and the resources benefits allotments. To tourist areas of minority, keep the traditional culture and the nationality unique feature then can make tourism get sustainable development. The harmonious relationships among ethic groups are the basic humane conditions in the development of tourism.
