Study on Physical Feature of Several Kinds of Burn-dressing

Objective To probe the physical feature of several kinds of burn-dressing in order to furnish evidence for selection of burn-dressing.Methods The isolating function from environmental pollution,the protective function to bron-wound,the stickiness and permeability of dressing were studed for absorbent gauze,non-absorbent gauze,artificial biological dressing.Results The isolating function of non-absorbent gauze was twice as much as that of absorbent gauze;15-sheet absorbent gauze was enough to protect burn-wound and provent the oozing of humor from passing through dressing;the permeability of artificial biological dressing was 3.8 times as much as that of superficial skin graft;on wound,the stickiness of artificial biological dressing was 0.5 times as much as that of absorbent gauze.Conclusion As an outer-dressing,5-sheet non-absorbent gauze is enough to prevent from environmental pollution,and it has an advantage over absorbent gauze.Absorbent gauze with 15 sheets is enough to protect burn-wound.As an inside-dressing,artificial biological dressing is favorable to maintain internal environment of histiocyte coming back to life,and it has little stickiness favorable to replacement of dressing on burn-wound.
