Ancient building ruins of Chongqing can be divided into different types like military ruins,small towns,Taoist temples,manors,carved stones,tombs,ancestral halls and assembly halls according to their historical functions.There have not been complete protective measures so far,so it is necessary to make an overall plan and to complete the protection in the aspects of classification,legislation,key programs and main protective buildings.
