On Improving the Criminal Law Punishing Acts of Corruption

Corruption,bribery and other corrupt acts do serious social harm.Punishing the corruption in the criminal law of China showing abnormal light and abnormal heavy characteristics,that is,the punishment for the serious corruption is too heavy,on the other hand,the punishment for the minor corruption is too light or even no punishment,which is not balanced,leading to the death penalty deterrent effectiveness being difficult to play,impunity difficult to achieve,social tolerance difficult to reduce,affecting the fight against corruption effect.We should follow the principle of zero tolerance of corruption,corruption punishment principle and the principle of prevention,to improve our criminal laws and regulations system.By eliminating the amount of conviction and death penalty,extending liberty,adding criminal fine penalties,adding qualifications penalties together with establishing recidivism indicting system,we can contain corruption in all domains,to establish an open and efficient system of social resources,to promote positive social and economic order and social order.
