Abstract

The synthesis of N-bromosuccinimide was reviewed and given a brief evaluation. The N-bromosuccinimide was used in allylic, benzylic bromination, ketones, and aromatic compounds or heterocyclic compounds in electrophilic bromination, addition reactions of alkenes,as well as was used as catalyst, and oxidant and other aspects were mainly introduced.
