Abstract

To overcome the limitation of fringe counting and phase analysis,a new method based on the time-frequency analysis is proposed to process the self-mixing interference signal. The frequency of the self-mixing interference signal is acquired by time-frequency analysis, and this frequency is equal to the Doppler shift,so the velocity of external object is gained easily. The simulation experiments show that the proposed method is very easy, effective, and accurate.
