Abstract
The straw-decomposing inoculants labeled Yuyuan, Xiang Runbang and Jiuye were applied to treat returning straws of late rice. The changes of physical and chemical properties of soil after applying the inoculants were analyzed, and effects on the growth, economic characters, and yields of late rice as well as straw degradation effect were studied. The results indicated that all of these strawdecomposing inoculants promoted the degradation of crop stalks effectively, and simultaneously, the benefit on rice growth and rice yields was achieved. Among them, Jiuye produced the best result. The late rice yield of straw returning + Jiuye inoculant + conventional fertilization was the highest, which was 507.9 kg/667m2, and compared with those of no straw returning + conventional fertilization and straw returning + conventional fertilization, it increased by 9.8% and 5.9%, respectively.
