Recent Research Advancement of Extradosed Cable-Stayed Bridge

Abstract

The current application and research of extradosed cable-stayed bridges at home and abroad are briefly depicted.The keywords of the type of the bridge in Chinese and English are discussed.Three concepts,such as the dead,live load ratio between cable and girder,and the nominal rigidity of the bridge,are provided,and the bridge is defined according to its structural type in order to reveal its mechanical essence.Eventually,the future development trend of the bridge is prospected.
